JUDO WITHOUT LIMITS
Brett has built the largest Judo program in the United States for people with disabilities. On any given week, 100+ athletes with either a physical, visual or intellectual disability train at Menomonee Judo or one of their satellite programs. The program, which is called, Judo Without Limits, allows all of these athletes train completely free of charge. Over the years quite a few of these players have competed locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Under the guidance of Sensei Wolf, the club has become a nationally competitive powerhouse both in size as well as in accomplishments. Since the summer of 1997 our students have won more than 150 National and International medals. Incredibly, more than 80% of our competitors receive medals at events we participate in.

Brett has built one of the largest Judo programs in the United States for Military Veterans. The program, called Warriors Without Limits, was started by Wolf in 2010. He has partnered with the Jesse Brown VA and the Chicago Park District to offer weekly classes to our local Veterans, both wounded and disabled, as well as able-bodied. The Veteran participants train for free and are given Judo gis and USA Judo memberships. The dojo also covers their tournament and training camp entry fees. In 2017, Menomonee Judo had more than 30 Military Veterans registered with USA Judo.
Class for Veterans and Military Personnel with and without physical disabilities - we are honored to run this program for the real life hero’s who have risked their lives to protect our freedom. Late in 2011 we received a grant from USA Paralympics and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to help grow this groundbreaking program. One very unique aspect of the Warriors Without Limits class, is how the veterans train with some of the top able bodied Judo players in the country. We have combined a Menomonee Judo Elite Training class with out WWL program. Participants like Howard Wilson and Matt Ritenour work closely with Junior World Team members, Max Schneider and Andrew Varga.
